Fort Lauderdale Innovation Zone Meeting
You are invited to attend the Fort Lauderdale Innovation Zone meeting to receive information on proposed school boundary changes for the 2015-2016 school year. Community members and District staff who have proposed school boundary changes will present their map proposals at this meeting. You are encouraged to be in attendance to discuss and share your concerns with any proposed school attendance area change. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 17th at 6:00 pm. The location is Virginia Shuman Young Elementary located at 101 NE 11th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale 33315.
Community members are encouraged to provide input into the 2015-2016 Community School Boundary Process. If you are unable to attend this Innovation Zone meeting, you may provide your comments on proposed school boundary changes by visiting the Demographics & Student Assignments Department web site (http://browardschools.com/dsa) or by calling (754) 321-2480.
Please help Sunrise Middle School support our Falcon boys, girls, and cheerleaders by attending our home and away games. Admission is $2 for students and $3 for adults for all home games. Ms. Striggles and our Falcon Cheerleaders will help bring cheers, chants and motivation to the court. Coach Green will be leading our boys to victory.
