Greetings Crew,

Welcome to middle school and to an exciting new chapter at Sunrise Middle School. The home of the Falcons! It is with great joy and anticipation that I welcome each of you to the 6th grade class. Whether you’re joining us from one of our feeder elementary schools or are brand new to the area, we are thrilled to have you become part of our school family. 

Transitioning to middle school is a big step—it’s a time filled with growth, discovery, and new experiences. As your Assistant Principal, I want you to know that you are not alone on this journey. Our entire staff is here to support, encourage, and guide you every step of the way. Sixth grade is not just about learning new subjects, but also about building friendships, discovering your voice, and gaining the confidence to take on challenges both inside and outside the classroom. 

Parents and guardians, we value your partnership and recognize that your involvement is key to your child’s success. Our team is committed to open communication, and we invite you to stay connected, ask questions, and celebrate your child’s growth throughout the year. Together, we can help our students soar. 

This year’s 6^th Grade theme, “The Launch Pad: Taking Off in Middle School,” is more than just a title—it’s a mission. Our goal is to create a strong foundation where students feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow both academically and socially. Get ready for a year filled with engaging lessons, meaningful connections, and powerful moments of discovery.

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year!

It’s an honor to continue serving as the 7th Grade Assistant Principal at Sunrise Middle School. Building on the foundation we laid with last year’s theme, “Job’s Not Finished this year we embrace a new focus: “One More Rep.” It’s about discipline, consistency, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. We don’t need to do more, we need to do what we’ve always done, with greater intention and accountability.

As a team, we are grounded in this mindset:
Do your job. Know your role. Play your position.
And do it with excellence and accountability.

We’re not changing the playbook or chasing trends, we’re executing it with more purpose, alignment, and consistency. We’re showing up, doing the work, and repeating the reps that lead to real results for our students. Every role on this campus matters, and every move should drive student growth and support a thriving school culture. When each of us shows up with purpose, the whole system thrives.

We also recognize that student achievement is not a solo effort. It takes strong partnerships between school, home, and the broader community. Families and community members play an essential role in supporting our students’ success. Together, with shared goals and a unified mindset, we will continue building an environment where all students grow, achieve, and thrive.

Dear Sunrise Middle School Families,

As we ride into a brand-new school year, I am beyond excited to introduce myself and officially join the incredible Sunrise Middle School community as your 8^th grade Assistant Principal! It’s an honor to be part of a school that values growth, grit, and greatness—and I’m ready to saddle up and ride alongside our 8th-grade students as we blaze a trail toward success. Whether we’re tackling academic challenges, diving into leadership opportunities, or celebrating milestones, we’ll do it together—with courage, confidence, and a whole lot of heart.

To our amazing 8th graders: this is your final lap in middle school, and what a ride it’s going to be! We’re not just preparing you for high school, we’re building the future, one goal, one step, and one breakthrough at a time. You’ve got a village behind you, and I’ll be right there cheering you on, every step of the way.
